Robertson Bell are excited to be supporting a well-established Government Body based in Central London to recruit an interim Procurement Manager on a 12-month contract, during a period of change.

This role will offer hybrid working and an opportunity to make a real impact in a challenging role during an exciting period in my clients’ lifecycle.

Key responsibilities of the interim Procurement Manager will include:

  • Providing effective support to stakeholders on Marketing procurements, ensuring informed and calculated decisions are made.
  • Maximising value for money on all procurements within the Marketing category utilising existing and new procurement routes.
  • Supporting the Head of Procurement in the day to day running of the procurement function and deputising in their absence.
  • Line managing a small complement of staff.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working at a senior level within a procurement function, ideally in the public sector, and overseeing a Marketing category.
  • Be MCIPS qualified or hold an equivalent procurement qualification.
  • Possess strong communication skills and extensive experience building, and maintaining, working relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Have previous staff management experience.
