Robertson Bell are working with an exciting large International Charity to recruit a HR & Recruitment Advisor in a newly created position.
Reporting to the HR Director, you will be responsible for delivering an effective HR and recruitment services both here in the UK and within the International entities. The main purpose of this job will be to provide professional HR advice and support to Line Managers and employees within a wide range of countries. Key responsibilities include:
*Lead on all aspects of the recruitment and selection process of international staff in the region. Specific responsibilities include job description development, recruitment planning, advertising and short-listing, selection interviews and tests, job offers, salary calculations and issuing contracts.
*Ensure country specific HR policies, employees handbooks, practices and processes are reviewed and updated according to the policy review date, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and consistent.
*Monitor appraisals and advise Country Directors/Line Managers on performance management issues.
*Carry out HR inductions and exit interviews for global roles, identifying key trends and ensuring that other departments are aware of issues requiring improvement.
This role a key player within the HR team and it is excellent opportunity for an individual to broaden their skillset within a growing charity. The ideal candidate will have a breadth of HR experience within an international setting and can demonstrate a range of HR/OD areas including: Employee relations, Resourcing and recruitment, Contracts of employment, variation of terms and interpretation of terms and conditions, Policy development and HR/OD project work. MCIPD qualification or comparable management qualification or experience that can be demonstrated as conferring the same level of expertise.
