Robertson Bell are proud to be working with this well-known, prestigious membership charity in their search for a new Finance Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. Based in South-West London, this brilliant hands-on role offers brilliant development potential and a CV enhancing opportunity. You will provide critical support to senior stakeholders and through the provision of financial analysis, scenario modelling and advice, you will enable them to continue on their current growth trajectory.

The key duties of this Finance Analyst role are as follows:

  • Full responsibility for managing the charity’s long-term financial model, ensuring that all future income and expenditure has been correctly accounted for.
  • Use financial models and KPI reporting to produce accurate projections for the future and boost performance of the charity in line with their strategic plan.
  • Complete oversight of the preparation of the charity’s annual budget, liaising with the Finance Business Partners to gather relevant data as required.
  • Take the lead on the production of the monthly management accounts, consolidating all departmental data and producing variance analysis with supporting commentaries.  
  • Coordination of the balance sheet report for review by the Board.
  • Produce ad hoc financial analysis for Senior Management to aid decision making.

My client is a leader in their field with over 100k members and this Finance Analyst role offers a brilliant opportunity for someone with previous experience in financial modelling and analysis who is looking to take a step up into a role that sits centrally to the development of the charity’s long-term strategic plan. Although homebased initially, applicants must live within a commutable distance from their head office based in South-West London.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally fully qualified as an accountancy professional. However, candidates without this who have relevant experience will still be considered.
  • Excellent financial modelling skills.
  • Demonstrable experience communicating with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Sound understanding of financial statements.
