My client is a Housing Association under 1,000 units based in London. Owing to internal secondments, there is a pressing need for an Interim Part Time Year End Accounting Lead (Outside IR35) on a 4-6 month contract, working three days per week, to:

Lead on the preparation of financial statements, plan audit schedules
Update all component accounting including disposals, amortisations, and reconciling Excel spreadsheets to the general ledger
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and other usual Financial Accounting and Year End responsibilities
Be the main point of contact liaising with external auditors

This role will suit someone looking to work flexibly; working hours can be arranged to suit the successful candidate’s schedule, as well as working days in the week. The post can also be worked fully remotely with the exception of one or two potential visits to the London office throughout the duration of the contract. As this is a distinct project piece of work, this post is classed outside of IR35.

This post will be reserved for someone with prior experience delivering year end in the social housing sector. Before applying, please ensure you meet these criteria:

Hold a full accountancy qualification, or QBE classified by demonstrating substantial experience leading numerous year ends with a proven track record of success in similar roles
Have strong experience in the Social Housing sector with a full awareness and understanding of the pressing needs of a Housing year end
Be available at short notice to start a new part time position.
