Head of Finance

Robertson Bell is partnering with a week-known Charity to recruit an Interim Head of Finance to join them for an initial six months contract. Leading a high performing team, this role will play a crucial role in leading year end and audit as well as developing the skills of the finance team.

The main responsibilities include:

• Lead, motivate and manage the entire finance team, ensuring strict financial controls, and regular deadlines are met.
• Responsible for the year end statutory reporting, and act as the main point of contact for the auditors.
• Oversight of the consolidated budgeting and financial planning for the charity in line with the three-year strategy.
• Ownership of developing the Finance Managers, driving a high performing finance team.

The successful candidate will be:

• A Chartered Accountant.  
• Able to demonstrate a strong track record of managing a large charity finance team.  
• A personable team manager with a passion for improving their team’s professional development.
• Willing to travel to Central London twice per week.
