Robertson Bell partnering with this up-and-coming housing provider as they go to market for a Finance Officer on a permanent basis. It is an exciting time to join this organisation as they grow their team and expand their portfolio of private properties.

In this Finance Officer role, you will:

    • Take full ownership over the accounts payable process for a high volume of invoices, ensuring all supplier invoices are processed correctly and approved in a timely manner.

Responsibility for completing accounts receivable duties in an effective and efficient manner by overseeing the direct debit process.

Perform bank reconciliations for several accounts, ensuring they are accurate in order to facilitate the production of month-reports.

Provide support to the wider company by answering queries from internal and external stakeholders.

Based in North-East London, you will benefit from a hybrid working pattern, requiring you to go into the office one-to-two days a week. However, further office presence will be expected for the transitionary period. The successful candidate will also receive an above-market-rate annual leave allowance of 28 days, a generous pension and will be given the opportunity to work within a supportive team.

The successful candidate will have:

    • At least one year's experience working in a Finance Officer role, with a great understanding of accounts payable and receivable.

Demonstrable experience reconciling bank accounts and processing a large volume of invoices.

A background working within the private housing sector, and be able to pick up new systems easily such as Yardi, Sage, Netsuite or Oracle.

Great communication skills and a friendly and personable demeanour with the ability to work in a team environment.

A great work-ethic and the desire to learn and take on more responsibility as they progress and grow into their role.
