Robertson Bell are excited to partner with this fantastic public organisation as they go to market for a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. This is the perfect opportunity for a driven and qualified finance professional looking to join a collaborative and supportive team, as you will have sole responsibility over several divisions and drive the financial goals of the organisation forwards.

The key responsibilities of this Finance Business Partner role include:

  • Provide value support to a variety of internal stakeholders, including heads of departments

and budget holders, by answering queries, discussing expenditure and reviewing budgets

  • Producing reports at month end for independent areas and directors across the business to ensure full financial literacy across the organisation
  • Providing value support to external Auditors during the year-end process by being a key point of contact to answer division-related queries
  • Offer vital input into the budget setting process across the organisation and accurately reforecast on a monthly basis
  • Build and maintain significant relationships with budget holders and ensure efficient communication between relevant parties
  • Make process and system improvements where necessary by influencing the financial architecture of the organisation to keep up with the organisation’s growth

The successful Finance Business Partner will:

  • Have experience budgeting, forecasting and producing financial reports within a not-for-profit or public sector organisation, or be eager to join the sector.
  • Be a fully qualified CCAB Accountant, however, candidates who are qualified by experience are encouraged to apply. 
  • Have strong analytical skills with the ability to identify the cause and effect of financial variances
  • Be able to liaise with, influence, and translate financial information to, a variety of non-financial stakeholders
