Temporary to Permanent Finance Officer

We are supporting a highly regarded independent school in their search for an Interim Finance Officer to join their small, collaborative finance team. This role offers the opportunity to move into a permanent position after an initial temporary period.

The duties include:

• Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
• Completing bank reconciliations
• Supporting month-end processes and developing towards assistant management accounting duties

About You

• Previous experience working within an independent school environment would be a strong advantage
• Experience in an accounting role and a genuine interest in developing a career in finance
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Flexibility

The school understands the importance of flexibility and is happy to consider part-time or full-time arrangements. A commitment of at least 2–3 days per week will be required, with the opportunity to build up hours if desired.
