Are you an experienced Payroll Officer with proven experience using Iris Cascade? Do you have the ability to process payroll end-to-end with minimal supervision? Are you available at short notice to support a busy team?
A not-for-profit organisation based in Central London is seeking an Interim Payroll Officer to provide additional support during a particularly busy period. Working within the finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing monthly payroll for multiple payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Managing payroll for new starters and leavers, including calculations and updates
- Administering pensions, statutory payments, and payroll adjustments (including sickness and maternity)
- Responding to payroll queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
- Supporting the existing payroll team to manage workload and maintain smooth operations
The successful candidate will have:
- Essential: Proven experience using Iris Cascade payroll system
- Proven experience processing payroll end-to-end with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of data accurately
- The ability to handle payroll queries confidently and efficiently
- Experience within a not-for-profit organisation would be beneficial
This is a 3-month contract requiring someone who can hit the ground running, offering hybrid working with two days per week in the Central London office.
