Senior Project Finance Officer

Robertson Bell is proud to be partnering exclusively with a small but impactful international development organisation to recruit a Senior Project Finance Officer.

With study support available in addition to mentoring from the Head of Finance this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, part-qualified finance professional looking to take a meaningful step forward in their career within the charity sector.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Finance, you'll gain broad exposure across the organisation's financial operations, including:

• Supporting the production of management accounts
• Managing and reporting on restricted and unrestricted project funding
• Developing donor and project budgets
• Supporting financial compliance and reporting (including donor reporting)
• Handling multi-currency transactions and international project finance
• Accounts payable and day-to-day finance operations

The Person

• Part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and actively studying or keen to do so
• Experience in a finance role, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector
• Exposure to restricted funding, donor reporting or international development finance - desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• A collaborative, can-do attitude; no task too big or small
• Ambitious and hungry to learn, with an eye on long-term career progression
