£70,000 – £80,000 | London | Hybrid Working | Housing Association

We're currently looking for Senior Finance Business Partner to take the lead in shaping financial strategy and strengthening executive decision-making across housing services.

Join a complex, highly regulated housing organisation where finance plays a critical role in delivering safe, sustainable homes and strong community outcomes. As Senior Financial Business Partner, you’ll operate at the heart of the organisation, working closely with Executive Directors and senior leaders to provide insight, challenge, and strategic support.

This is your opportunity to make a visible, lasting impact, driving performance, influencing investment decisions, and strengthening long-term financial sustainability across housing services.

What you’ll gain:

  • Real influence at senior level – act as a trusted advisor to Executive Directors, shaping strategic and operational decisions.
  • Ownership and accountability – lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for housing services with clear responsibility for outcomes.
  • Leadership impact – develop and lead a high-performing finance business partnering team and embed a culture of performance and accountability.
  • Breadth and challenge – work across development programmes, asset management, service transformation, and major projects.
  • Purpose-driven work – use your financial expertise to support better homes, stronger services, and long-term value for money.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with Executive Directors and senior stakeholders, providing robust financial insight, challenge, and decision support.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning for housing services.
  • Deliver clear, insightful financial analysis to support investment decisions, service transformation, and value-for-money initiatives.
  • Oversee, coach, and develop a team of finance business partners, driving high standards and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and funding requirements within a highly regulated housing environment.
  • Support the delivery of development programmes, asset management strategies, and major projects.

What you’ll need:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in a senior finance business partnering role, ideally within housing, local government, or another regulated environment.
  • A proven ability to influence and challenge constructively at executive level.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams.

About the organisation:

This organisation plays a vital role in delivering housing services within a complex regulatory framework. With ambitious plans for growth, investment, and service improvement, finance is central to enabling sustainable decision-making and long-term success.

Ready to take the next step?

Apply now to use your expertise where it truly matters, shaping strategy, influencing leaders, and making a real difference across housing services.
