A large, well-known charity is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join its finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based in Central London with a hybrid working pattern of two days per week in the office, this is an excellent opportunity to support one of the organisation's key fundraising directorates while leading a small team of Finance Business Partners.

The key responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner are:
- Acting as the lead finance partner to a major fundraising directorate, providing insightful financial support to senior stakeholders.
- Building strong relationships with Directors and senior budget holders, supporting decision-making through robust financial analysis and commercial insight.
- Leading the budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting processes for your business area, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
- Reviewing management accounts, journals and financial reporting prepared by the wider team, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy.
- Supporting the development of business cases, income projections and financial modelling to inform strategic initiatives.
- Leading, mentoring and developing two direct reports, helping to strengthen business partnering capability within the team.
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and the use of financial data to support operational performance.
- Supporting finance transformation initiatives and contributing to future systems and reporting improvements where required.
The successful candidate will have:
- A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Previous charity sector experience, which is essential.
- Demonstrable experience operating in a Finance Business Partner or Senior Finance Business Partner role.
- Strong people management experience, with the ability to coach and develop finance professionals.
- Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders.
- Experience supporting fundraising, income generation or other commercially focused functions would be highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience producing financial models, forecasts and business cases.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
