Robertson Bell are delighted to be partnering with a prominent not-for-profit organisation to recruit a Management Accountant on a part-time, permanent basis. This role will take ownership of quarterly management accounts, budgeting, reforecasting and cashflow forecasting, as well as working closely with teams across the organisation to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

In this role, you will:

  • Produce quarterly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and clarity in reporting
  • Lead on the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecasts, working closely with around budget holders
  • Build strong relationships with fundraising and development teams to contribute to donor reporting and funding proposals
  • Take ownership of cashflow forecasting, including setting up processes and moving towards longer-term forecasting
  • Oversee payroll data preparation for an outsourced payroll provider

This role offers a flexible working pattern of three or four days per week (24 hours), with two days in the central London office. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be part-qualified, newly qualified, or qualified by experience
  • Have proven experience in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Possess strong cashflow forecasting skills, ideally including process implementation
  • Understand, or be keen to learn, fund accounting in a charity context
  • Be an excellent communicator who can build strong working relationships
  • Be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving
