This is an opportunity to join a busy team during a key period of service charge budget setting, with an immediate requirement for someone who can hit the ground running.
Responsibilities:
Support the preparation and setting of service charge budgets.
Analyse and review large volumes of financial and service charge data.
Identify anomalies, inconsistencies and areas requiring further investigation.
Carry out data validation and reconciliation activity.
Respond to service charge queries and data requests.
Work closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider organisation.
Support ongoing service charge processes and reporting.
Experience required:
Strong service charge experience gained within either a Housing Association or private property environment is essential.
Strong understanding of service charge processes, budgets and reconciliations.
Excellent Excel skills are essential, including experience working with large datasets and complex formulas.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interrogate, interpret and sense-check financial data.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
Experience working in a fast-paced finance environment where deadlines are important.
Ideally, you will be able to commute into the office one day per week however, fully remote working within the UK will also be considered.
