Robertson Bell are supporting a Central Government department to recruit an interim Project Coordinator on an initial three-month contract so support an ongoing Corporate Services transformation. This is a hybrid role, two days per week in the office, that can be based out of either London or Birmingham.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Maintaining project plans, action logs, and Gantt charts to track progress and deadlines.
- Coordinating stakeholders across multiple areas of Corporate Services to ensure deadlines are met and information is collated centrally.
- Distributing critical documentation across Corporate Services from a central point.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to project teams, organising meetings and managing calendars.
- Monitor project risks and issues, escalating as needed to ensure successful delivery.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a project support/coordination role.
- Experience working in the public sector, preferably a Central Government organisation.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques, such as Gantt charts, project planners and action logs.
You must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (CTC level or above) and willing to undergo clearance, if not already held.
