Robertson Bell is working with a vibrant, medium-sized organisation based in North West London to recruit an interim Management Accountant on an initial three-month contract.
This role can be worked on either a full-time basis or four days per week, with a requirement to be in the office approximately 80% of the time.
The Management Accountant will be responsible for:
Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, with supporting commentary and analysis.
Assisting non-financial stakeholders across a number of business units with their financial management; monitoring budgets, updating forecasts, and influencing financial decisions.
Running a smooth month-end process; preparing and uploading prepayments, journals, and accruals.
Dealing with finance-related queries from the business, using your experience and expertise to find resolutions.
Key requirements are:
Significant experience in a similar role, with a focus on management accounting and finance business partnering.
A high level of Excel competency, particularly with the use of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and IF functions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
A strong work ethic and the ability to work proactively, both as part of a team and independently.
