Interim Management Accountant - fully remote - social housing experience needed

Are you a Management Accountant with Housing sector experience who can hit the ground running? Do you understand shared ownership, balance sheet reconciliations and the realities of Housing finance? Are you available immediately for a fully remote interim assignment?

A Housing provider is seeking an Interim Management Accountant to support the finance team during a busy period. This is a fully remote role for up to three months offering an immediate start and would suit someone comfortable working independently across a broad management accounting remit.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting analysis.
• Completing balance sheet and cashbook reconciliations.
• Supporting monthly reporting papers and commentary.
• Assisting with cashflow forecasting.
• Supporting development and component capitalisation accounting.
• Assisting with VAT processes.

To be considered, please meet these criteria:

• Previous Management Accounting experience within the Housing sector.
• Understanding of core Social Housing finance concepts.
• Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
• AAT qualified or equivalent experience desirable.
• Able to work independently and remotely, and start immediately.
