Interim International Project Accountant

Robertson Bell is partnering with a high-impact international non-profit to recruit an International Project Accountant for a 6-month contract. This is a full-time role, with two days per week in the organisation’s Central London office.

Working as part of a collaborative finance team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting multi-country programme delivery, ensuring robust financial oversight and reporting across six international offices. Key duties will include:

• Reviewing and consolidating monthly financial reports from delivery partners across Asia and Africa
• Monitoring budgets, tracking project expenditure, and preparing reforecasts as needed
• Partnering closely with project teams to ensure financial accuracy and donor compliance
• Managing foreign currency transactions, reconciliations, and valuations
• Producing timely reports for internal and external stakeholders

You’ll be a proactive and capable finance professional who is able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced, international environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience in international project accounting – INGO experience is essential
• Strong financial reporting and Excel skills, with confidence working with complex datasets
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• The ability to work independently and hit the ground running
