We're working with a national charity based in South London to recruit an Interim Financial Controller following the unexpected departure of the current incumbent. Whilst there may be a small amount of year-end audit work to conclude, the real focus of the role is strengthening financial controls, improving finance processes and preparing the organisation for a future finance system implementation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leaving a finance function in a stronger position than they found it.

This is a varied role that combines hands-on financial control with genuine opportunity to improve the way finance operates. You'll join an organisation that is investing in its finance function, with plans to replace its finance system and modernise long-standing manual processes.
The role is offered on an initial six-month contract, with hybrid working and around one day per week in the South London office. Inside IR35 paid via Umbrella.
