Do you want to use your finance expertise to make a real impact while developing your career? Are you looking for a role where you can lead a small team, drive efficiency, and play a key part in strengthening financial performance?

We are delighted to be recruiting a Finance Administrator Supervisor for a well-established and growing organisation within the care sector. With decades of success and a reputation for quality, the business continues to evolve and invest in its people, offering real opportunities for development and long-term progression.

This newly available position sits within a busy and collaborative finance department. You’ll oversee a small team responsible for managing income and credit processes — ensuring accuracy, consistency, and excellent service delivery. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and leading by example in a supportive and professional environment.

In this Finance Administrator Supervisor role, you will:

  • Lead and motivate a small team to deliver timely and accurate finance administration.

  • Oversee key processes such as invoicing, direct debits, and service user setup and maintenance.

  • Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on payments, and ensure strong cash management.

  • Review and authorise team actions, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.

  • Support, coach, and develop staff to enhance capability and performance.

  • Work cross-functionally with colleagues to resolve queries and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Take a hands-on approach to daily operations while driving efficiency and best practice.

Why this is an exciting opportunity

This is more than an administrative finance role — it’s a chance to take on genuine leadership responsibility within a respected, values-driven organisation.

You’ll be joining a team that’s professional, welcoming, and ambitious, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement. It’s a role where your ideas will be valued, your experience recognised, and your development encouraged.

With a stable environment, supportive management, and the opportunity to shape how things are done, this position offers the perfect balance of challenge, growth, and reward.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience supervising or leading a small finance team.

  • Bring strong transactional finance skills across income, invoicing, or credit control.

  • Be confident managing high volumes of data and maintaining accuracy under pressure.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

  • Be organised, dependable, and motivated by achieving results through others.

  • Have a good understanding of finance processes and systems, with the ability to learn quickly.

Based on a hybrid model with regular office presence required.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and interviews will be conducted face to face with senior finance stakeholders. Early applications are encouraged.
