This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the effective management and recovery of income, while also making a meaningful impact on residents’ lives.
Proactively manage a caseload of tenant rent accounts and housing-related debts, taking early intervention to prevent arrears.
Prepare and issue legal notices, representing the organisation in court when necessary.
Work closely with colleagues, local authorities, and external agencies to support residents in financial difficulty.
Provide advice to residents on welfare benefits, payment methods, and budgeting to help sustain tenancies.

Bring proven experience in income recovery and arrears collection, ideally within a housing association or local authority.
Have strong knowledge of housing law, welfare benefits, and rent recovery procedures.
Be confident preparing legal documentation and attending court.
Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents from diverse backgrounds.
