Robertson Bell are working with a well-known and growing non-profit organisation to recruit a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis on a permanent contract.
This is a newly created role that presents an excellent opportunity for a highly commercial finance professional to use their strategic mindset and analytical skills to steer the organisation as they grow and drive financial efficiency.
The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis will be responsible for:
- Analysing commercial agreements to project financial impact and ensure the organisation is receiving value for money.
- Incorporating financial analysis into the negotiation of commercial agreements, working closely with colleagues across corporate services to secure favourable terms.
- Undertaking analysis of the organisations cost base and working in unison with finance business partners to drive strategic decision-making.
- Supporting the organisations financial planning and budgeting process through provision of insightful financial analysis and reports.
- Leading a team of two direct reports, providing direction in their workflow and supporting professional development.
The successful candidate will:
- Have significant experience in financial management and FP&A, including cost analysis and risk mitigation.
- Be a CCAB qualified or CIMA qualified accountant.
- Have managerial, mentorship or supervisory experience in a work environment.
- Be an excellent communicator, with the ability to build relationships with and influence senior stakeholders.
- Use MS Excel proficiently on a daily basis, often handling large data sets.
Ideally candidates will have experience working in a sizeable organisation with a turnover of c. £100 million or more.
