A senior housing finance role with genuine influence, a sizeable team to lead and the freedom to work predominantly remotely.

We’re partnering with a well-established, purpose-led organisation delivering essential services across housing and independent living. They’re now looking for a Head of Finance Business Partnering to take ownership of the financial management of a major operational division, working closely with senior leaders and leading an established finance team.

What you'll do:

• Lead the finance team and oversee monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.
• Act as a trusted finance business partner to senior housing leaders and budget holders, providing clear insight and constructive challenge.
• Present financial performance and analysis to senior leadership and support key operational decisions.
• Oversee the finance elements of the annual service charge cycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working across the finance function.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team, creating a positive culture focused on growth and continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:

You’ll be a fully qualified accountant with strong management accounting, budgeting and finance business partnering experience, alongside proven experience leading and developing a finance team.

Housing or property services experience is key, with a good understanding of rents and/or service charges. You’ll be confident working with senior operational stakeholders and able to translate financial information into clear, practical insight and challenge.

This could suit an established Head of Finance, Head of Finance Business Partnering or a strong Senior Finance Business Partner ready to step up. For the latter, housing or property experience will be essential.
