An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Group Financial Reporting Accountant to join a respected organisation based in Redruth. This role offers the chance to take ownership of core financial processes and support the delivery of robust reporting across a diverse group structure.

The key duties of this Group Financial Reporting Accountant will be:

  • Producing monthly group management accounts and ensuring timely reporting.
  • Leading on month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Preparing budgets and forecasts across the Group and supporting financial planning.
  • Producing draft statutory accounts and supporting the external audit process.
  • Managing and developing a small finance team.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns for the Group to HMRC.
  • Managing the sales ledger and overseeing key reconciliations.
  • Reviewing and streamlining financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Supporting the development of a data-driven finance team aligned to the organisation’s corporate plan.

  • A qualified or part-qualified accountant.
  • Skilled in financial and management accounting principles and familiar with reporting regulations.

  • Confident working with a wide range of stakeholders across finance and operations.
  • A motivated team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • An experienced or aspiring manager who enjoys supporting others to develop and perform at their best.

This role is based in Redruth, offering a balance of on-site collaboration and flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week.
