Robertson Bell are delighted to be partnering with a forward-thinking international charity as they recruit for a Finance Business Partner to join their growing finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and strategic finance professional who wants to go beyond the numbers and play a key role in shaping impactful programmes that drive positive global change.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will lead on financial planning and business partnering for a range of programmes, ensuring budgets and forecasts are accurate, insightful and aligned with organisational priorities. You’ll provide high-quality management information and trusted challenge to budget holders, supporting effective decision-making across a diverse and ambitious organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a strategic partner to programme teams, providing robust financial insight and challenge.
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with organisational and funder requirements.
- Producing clear, accurate management information and commentary to support key stakeholders.
- Advising on the financial viability of new and existing projects and initiatives.
- Supporting financial capacity building across partner organisations, helping improve understanding of funding requirements and compliance.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring financial information supports effective programme delivery.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Have proven experience in a finance business partnering or financial planning role within a complex organisation.
- Demonstrate strong budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills.
- Be confident working with senior stakeholders and providing financial insight and challenge.
- Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Be proactive, solutions-focused and keen to contribute to meaningful international work.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with attendance at the Central London office typically one or two days per week.
