Are you an experienced FP&A professional with a passion for long-term financial planning? Do you enjoy working with complex models, large balance sheets, and ambitious investment plans? Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the financial future of a leading, socially driven organisation? If yes, this is the role for you!

This forward-thinking property organisation is currently seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This role plays a critical role in supporting the development of the organisation’s longer term financial plan, working closely with the Head of Financial Planning and wider finance and business teams. You’ll help ensure the financial plan is accurate, robust, and continuously optimised, influencing decisions around growth, investment, and M&A activity.

The key duties of this Financial Planning Analyst will be:

  • Develop, maintain, and analyse the group’s long-term financial plan in BRIXX, including balance sheet and cashflow modelling.
  • Support consolidation of financial data from across the business into the financial plan, including development, assets, and intercompany transactions.
  • Work closely with budget holders, investment teams, and treasury to ensure assumptions, forecasts, and cashflows are correctly reflected.
  • Monitor material variances, update the plan regularly, and identify opportunities to optimise systems and processes.
  • Support improvement of financial planning tools, creating interfaces between systems where required.
  • Provide analytical insight to support decision-making for growth initiatives, development investments, and future funding requirements.

This is a unique opportunity to join a highly profitable, ambitious organisation with the highest rating of financial strength and an exciting development pipeline. You’ll be involved at a pivotal point as the business launches its new 5-year corporate strategy, helping shape long-term investment planning and financial systems. The team is highly collaborative, investing in new systems, and offers flexibility with working patterns to balance home and office days.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong financial modelling skills.
  • Experienced in FP&A in a complex organisation, ideally with multiple subsidiaries and intercompany relationships.
  • Confident in working with large balance sheets and long-term cashflows (5+ years), with a critical eye for detail.
  • Ideally experienced in property development, housing, utilities, or construction sectors.
  • Strong communicator able to liaise with budget holders and stakeholders across the business.

Working pattern & location: Flexible, largely home-based with occasional office visits to Worcester as required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing finance team and make a tangible impact on the long-term financial strategy of a socially minded, growth-focused organisation. Applications are being reviewed on a rolling basis – apply now to secure your chance to shape the future of financial planning.
