A large and complex well-known organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Implementation Lead to oversee the implementation of a new planning and budgeting system. This is an initial 12-month contract offered Outside IR35.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the selection and implementation of a new planning and budgeting system (e.g. Anaplan, IBM Cognos or similar)
- Standardise financial processes, planning and reporting across a large, complex, multi-divisional organisation
- Manage a team of business analysts and project managers to deliver end-to-end system implementation
- Partner with senior stakeholders across a highly matrixed, multi-disciplinary environment to drive engagement, adoption and change
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience delivering planning and budgeting system implementations within large, complex organisations (multi-division and multi-disciplinary environments essential)
- Strong technical finance background, ideally qualified accountant, with deep expertise in financial planning, analysis and reporting
- Demonstrable experience operating in complex matrix structures with senior stakeholder management responsibility
- Strong track record of leading finance transformation and system change programmes
- Excellent change management and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups
