As Financial Accounting Manager, you’ll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity while contributing to an organisation where faith and mission are at the heart of daily life. You’ll lead a small team, oversee statutory reporting, support the audit process, and champion the implementation of a new finance system. You’ll also take part in regular prayer time, joining colleagues who share a sense of purpose and collective belief in what they do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and develop a team of three within the finance function

  • Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure all reporting deadlines are met

  • Act as a main point of contact for the external audit process, attending meetings and managing audit queries

  • Play a central role in implementing a new finance system (Business Central), driving improvement and best practice

  • Lead and participate in regular prayer time, reflecting the organisation’s shared faith and values

Person Specification

  • Fully CCAB qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

  • Proven experience working with Business Central (essential)

  • Strong background in statutory accounts preparation

  • Previous involvement in external audit processes, including liaising with auditors

  • Confident leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a small team
