We are recruiting for a part-time (full time may be considered) FBP to join a complex and evolving organisation undergoing significant change within its finance function. This is an opportunity to move beyond transactional finance and play a key role in supporting operational teams, improving financial visibility, and driving better commercial decision-making.
The role
You will:
- Partner closely with budget holders and operational teams across the organisation
- Provide financial insight, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making
- Improve financial understanding and accountability among non-finance stakeholders
- Support budgeting and monthly management reporting processes
- Analyse financial data and produce meaningful reporting using Excel
- Help improve existing processes, reporting, and controls within a manual finance environment
- Contribute to wider commercial initiatives and future finance improvements
About you
- Experience within Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting, or a commercially focused finance role
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Confident challenging and supporting non-finance teams
- Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working within evolving environments
Qualifications and sector experience are not essential — strong practical experience and the ability to build relationships are more important.
Location & hours
- Part-time opportunity (2–4 days per week)
- Hybrid working available, with some on-site presence preferred
