What you’ll do

Provide clear, practical financial advice to non-finance colleagues, helping them understand cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.
-
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting, working closely with budget holders to build realistic, well-controlled financial plans.
-
Produce and interpret management accounts and performance reports, translating financial data into clear insight and actionable recommendations.
-
Support business cases and option appraisals across housing services, maintenance, and development activity.
-
Challenge assumptions and support managers to improve value for money, financial control, and operational efficiency.
-
Build strong, credible relationships across the organisation, becoming a trusted adviser and first point of contact for financial matters.
-
Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting, and ways of working.
What you’ll need
-
Experience in a Finance Business Partnering role within a social housing provider.
-
Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification.

Solid understanding of management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
-
Excellent communication skills, able to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
