Do you have the confidence to advise senior stakeholders and influence major financial decisions? Would you value the chance to lead, develop, and inspire within a collaborative and forward-thinking finance team? If yes, look no further!

Working as part of a high-performing team, as a Finance Business Parter you’ll provide expert financial advice and support to senior leaders across the organisation. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll take a lead role in the preparation of management information, financial analysis, and strategic planning - helping to ensure that budgets, forecasts, and business decisions are robust, well-informed, and aligned to organisational goals.

The key duties of this Finance Business Partner will be:

  • Providing a comprehensive financial support service to senior managers, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Preparing financial reports for Directors and consolidating them into organisation-wide monitoring reports for leadership and board review.
  • Advising on financial strategy, risk, and value-for-money principles to support effective decision-making.
  • Leading, motivating and developing finance staff, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Deputising for the Finance Manager as required and representing Finance in key meetings and working groups.
  • Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance service quality and efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who thrives on challenge, enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, and wants to contribute to an organisation with a strong social mission. You’ll be joining a collaborative, forward-thinking finance team where your ideas will be valued and your professional development actively supported.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A CCAB-qualified or part-qualified accountant (or equivalent).
  • Experienced in management accounting, financial planning, and report preparation, ideally within a complex or public sector environment.
  • Skilled at building relationships with non-financial managers and explaining complex financial information clearly.
  • Confident using financial systems, spreadsheets, and analytical tools to interpret and present data effectively.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused individual with strong time management, communication, and leadership skills.

This role offers hybrid working, with a base in West Yorkshire and flexibility to work from home up to three days per week.
