Are you a qualified or finalist-level Accountant looking to step into a truly business-facing finance role? Do you enjoy translating complex financial information into meaningful insights for stakeholders with varying levels of financial literacy? Are you keen to use your skills to drive performance and support services that make a real impact on people’s lives? If yes, this could be the role for you!

We are delighted to be partnering with a not-for-profit organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. This is a pivotal role, working closely with operational and senior stakeholders, helping to shape financial decision-making and drive organisational performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Managers with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, adapting your approach to suit different levels of financial literacy.
  • Producing insightful KPI reporting and commentary, ensuring financial data is meaningful and strategically focused.
  • Building strong relationships with Directors and Area Managers to support future business planning.
  • Contributing to finance committee reports and occasionally attending meetings to present findings.
  • Driving forward high-performing teams by equipping Managers with clear, useful financial information.
  • Supporting the move to a new finance system, ensuring processes become more efficient and commercially focused.

This organisation offers a competitive salary alongside a generous benefits package including 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension scheme with employer contribution, free parking, an onsite restaurant, staff discounts, employee assistance programme, and training and development opportunities (including study support). You’ll work on a beautiful site with hybrid working of three days in the office and two from home.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A fully qualified or finalist Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CIPFA).
  • Experienced in management accounting and/or business partnering, with the ability to get behind the numbers and provide meaningful insight.
  • A confident communicator who can build strong relationships across finance and non-finance teams.
  • Bright, curious, and dynamic, with proven impact in their previous roles.
  • Commercially minded, with the initiative to work proactively and influence stakeholders.
  • Keen to progress in their career, with the potential to move into a more senior FP&A role in the future.

Applications are being reviewed on a rolling basis, so early application is encouraged.
