Robertson Bell is pleased to be working with a well-established organisation in the education sector to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role within a restructured finance team, providing the successful candidate with the opportunity to shape the role and deliver real value from day one.
In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic financial support and business partnering across several high-profile professional services functions with combined budgets of £30-40 million.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Develop robust business cases and financial plans to support organisational decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiencies, and process improvements.
- Partner with directors and budget holders to help them manage their finances effectively, offering both strategic advice and training where needed.
- Play a key role in improving the organisation’s financial management, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Support the development of financial literacy across non-finance teams by delivering training and guidance.
You will work 36 hours per week on a hybrid basis, typically three days per week in the central London office. Alongside this, you will benefit from excellent study support (including time off and financial support), 26.5 days annual leave plus time off at Christmas, pension contributions of up to 10%, and access to a staff discount platform covering retail, wellbeing, and leisure.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a part-qualified Accountant, and the desire to continue your studies.
- Bring significant experience as a Finance Business Partner.
- Have a track record of delivering financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
- Demonstrate the ability to balance detail with strategic insight when advising stakeholders.
- Possess excellent communication skills, able to influence and respectfully challenge at senior levels.
- Be motivated to drive positive change and contribute to long-term financial improvement.
