Finance & Operations Officer (No Experience Required)
London | Hybrid working, 3 days in the office | £28,000 + excellent benefits

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a purpose-driven organisation working to support women facing injustice and inequalities. Sitting at the heart of a small, collaborative team, you’ll play a key role in keeping finance, HR, and office operations running smoothly. It’s a hands-on, varied role where no two days look the same, and where a proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in will be just as important as any prior experience.

What you’ll do

  • Help keep day-to-day finance processes running smoothly, including raising and processing invoices, handling payments, monitoring incoming funds, following up on overdue amounts, and supporting account reconciliations
  • Complete routine bank reconciliations and assist in identifying and resolving any inconsistencies
  • Administer staff expenses, reimbursements, and corporate card activity, ensuring records are kept accurate and up to date
  • Provide administrative support to HR activities such as onboarding and leaving processes, managing pre-employment checks, and handling recruitment enquiries
  • Help organise interviews and diary arrangements, supporting coordination across the HR team
  • Contribute to day-to-day office support, including ordering supplies and working with external contractors and building contacts
  • Assist with general coordination tasks such as managing shared inboxes, liaising with suppliers, and arranging meetings

You’ll be joining an organisation that offers a supportive and flexible working environment. Alongside a salary of £28,000, you’ll benefit from 33 days annual leave plus bank holidays. There is also scope to grow and develop within the role, making it an excellent step for someone looking to build a long-term career in finance or operations.

What you’ll need

  • A willingness to get involved and contribute across finance, HR, and office administration
  • A strong desire to learn and develop new skills
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to balance a varied workload
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with financial information
  • Confidence communicating with colleagues across different teams
  • A genuine interest in working for a purpose-led organisation
