Do you want to use your finance skills to support projects that make a difference on a global scale? Are you confident working with institutional donors and funding partners, ensuring compliance while keeping projects financially sustainable? Do you enjoy working with non-financial stakeholders, helping them understand the story behind the numbers? If yes, this could be your next role!

This is an exciting opportunity to join an international organisation as a Donor Finance Business Partner, playing a key role in supporting the delivery of projects that address pressing social and environmental challenges worldwide.

The key duties of this Donor Finance Business Partner will be:

  • Acting as a trusted partner to project teams, providing clear financial insight and guidance across a portfolio of complex projects.
  • Supporting proposal development and funding applications, ensuring budgets are accurate, sustainable, and fully compliant with donor requirements.
  • Monitoring financial performance, producing clear and engaging reports for both internal and external audiences.
  • Helping non-financial colleagues understand financial information, building their confidence and strengthening financial decision-making.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities, providing forward-looking analysis and recommendations to support organisational sustainability.
  • Ensuring financial compliance and contributing to audit processes when required.

This is not just about producing reports - it’s about influencing decisions and shaping impact. You’ll be working at the centre of a mission-driven organisation, trusted to guide colleagues and projects that deliver meaningful change. As part of a collaborative Finance Business Partnering team, you’ll have the support of colleagues handling the day-to-day accounting, giving you the space to focus on insight, strategy, and building strong relationships across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be:

  • An experienced Finance Business Partner (or equivalent) with a background in the non-profit or international development sector.
  • Confident working with donors and funding partners, and familiar with the financial requirements of externally funded projects.
  • Skilled in explaining complex financial information in a clear, engaging way to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Commercially minded, with experience of planning, forecasting, and providing financial insight that supports long-term sustainability.
  • A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships and influencing decisions.

This is a permanent role offered on a hybrid working basis, with only occasional travel (just a few days per month) required to their office in central London.

If you’re looking for a Donor Finance Business Partner role where you can combine technical expertise with meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today and help shape the future of a global organisation.
