Robertson Bell are supporting a high-profile organisation based in Southwest London to recruit a Finance Business Partner into their commercial finance team. This is a rare opportunity to join a value-driven organisation in a role that is business partnering–heavy with high exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic decisions.

This newly shaped role will support the organisation’s largest budget area – a £40m+ portfolio – and play a key role in shaping new revenue streams. With a total organisational budget of around £140m, this is an opportunity to influence decisions at the heart of a complex, growing organisation.

The role:

Your focus will be on delivering strategic insight, robust analysis, and clear financial guidance to key business units. Unlike traditional roles, there is minimal month-end and management accounting due to strong automation, freeing your time to focus on high-value business partnering work.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic financial insight and modelling to support commercial initiatives, new business opportunities, and ongoing service development.
  • Acting as a trusted adviser and ‘critical friend’ to senior stakeholders, supporting decisions with clear financial analysis.
  • Leading financial input into the planning and delivery of new income-generating activities.
  • Performing risk analysis, scenario planning, and forecasting to support sustainable financial planning.
  • Supporting the delivery of annual business plans and contributing to the wider FP&A function.

The successful candidate will be:

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Commercially astute and naturally inquisitive, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Highly analytical with advanced Excel skills and experience in financial modelling and decision support.
  • Experienced working within medium to large, complex organisations.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.

This is a hybrid role, three days per week in the office, offering an excellent benefits package and opportunity for growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a forward-thinking finance professional ready to step into a role where they can truly make a difference. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early application is strongly encouraged.
