Assistant Management Accountant

Robertson Bell are partnering with a highly regarded organisation in Birmingham to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent qualification to join a high-performing finance team with a strong reputation across the business.

The Role

Reporting into an experienced Finance Business Partner, you will:

• Support the production of monthly management accounts.
• Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Produce financial analysis and variance commentary.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Work closely with budget holders and operational stakeholders.
• Help translate financial information into meaningful business insight.

The Successful Candidate

You will:

• Be actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent qualification.
• Have experience supporting the production of management accounts.
• Possess knowledge of journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Be confident communicating with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Have a proactive attitude, growth mindset and desire to develop your career.
