Want to work for a nationally recognised, £50million turnover charity? Do you have previous experience operating in a treasury and banking function at a senior level? Keen to secure a varied new role with the opportunity to liaise with senior stakeholders across the entire organisation?

If yes, this could be your next role!

My client is a well-known charity based in central London who are now looking for a Senior Treasury Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. This role comes at an exciting time for the charity as they have recently undergone a rapid period of change and they are now looking to add an extra resource to their dynamic, high performing team.

The key duties of this Senior Treasury Accountant role are as follows:

  • Full responsibility for managing the charity’s treasury function, ensuring rigorous controls over cash and bank balances are maintained.
  • Take the lead in ensuring that all cash is moved to the appropriate places in order to support the day to day running of the charity.
  • Complete ownership of keeping the charity’s bank mandates up to date.
  • Manage the daily cash flow including updating and forecasting, plus analysing data.
  • Prepare weekly cash reports for senior management.
  • Managing a team of two, focusing on upskilling them and contributing to their CPD.

This Senior Treasury Accountant is an excellent opportunity to have ownership of a crucial part of the charity’s operations as well as lead a high performing team. The role is currently fully remote but there will be a phased return to the Central London office in due course and you can expect to do as many as three days a week at home if desired.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Part-qualified as an accountancy professional.
  • Previous experience managing complex banking operations.
  • Ideally, a background working in the charity sector. Although, this is by no means essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and developing a small team.

This role is sure to move quickly and therefore may come off the market before the closing date. Please apply immediately to avoid missing out.
