My client is a household name charity that is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join them during this exciting period of change for the organisation. Managing a team of four accountants (qualified and part qualified) this role not only looks after the main area of the charity, but also offers the opportunity to develop a team that has the ability to provide quality financial support throughout the organisation. The main responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner are as follows:
*Provide an ‘a grade’ service to internal budget holders, supporting them through all financial matters.
*Be the main point of contact for budget holders, providing them with financial information to enable them to make commercial decisions to grow the charity further.
*Ensure that the management accounts are delivered accurately and on schedule for this specific directorate.
*Work closely with the Head of Management Accounts to develop the annual budgets and strategic finance plans.
This role requires no previous charity experience and is therefore a perfect opportunity for either candidates looking to move into the sector or for current Not-for-Profit candidates who are looking for an exciting new challenge. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with strong business partnering skills. Candidates should also have previous experience of preparing management accounts and managing a team. Furthermore, it would be of huge benefit to have worked in a large (£50m+) organisation previously.
