Programme Finance Manager

Robertson Bell is working with a fast-growing INGO to find an experienced Programme Accountant with a passion for international development who is looking to join an organisation with huge potential in a new role which they can make their own. This role will be responsible for overseeing the international performance of the charity who are building their reputation across the world.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Programme Finance Manager will be responsible for delivering high quality financial support to the proposal development and grant management teams, leading on grant reporting and budget development for new proposals at a senior level.

This role will take ownership of the international work done by the organisation and it’s partners, working proactively to identify key risks and developing a strong understanding of where key weaknesses and strengths are and managing these.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACCA) with experience in the International Development sector either from volunteering or auditing the sector, or working in the area. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are absolutely essential, as this position will be working with senior stakeholders internationally.
