Finance Business Partner

My client is a large property provider in the heart of London whose exponential growth over recent years has seen opportunities abound for both customers and employees. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role has key responsibilities such as:

• Being the sole business partner to the Managing Director and SMT of a crucial subsidiary of the business which operates at the heart of the organisation’s core purpose; challenging, advising, and supporting senior leaders in all decisions surrounding financial management
• Supporting budget holders by creating and adapting financial models to show the position of projects and support strategic decision making
• Overseeing the full accounting process for the subsidiary, including owning month end, production of accounts, as well as preparing board packs and sitting on board meetings
• Leading on budgeting and forecasting, providing variance analysis and commentary, for large budgets that have a great impact on the overall bottom line.

• Be fully qualified as an accountant
• Have excellent Finance Business Partnering experience, showing a familiarity with complex financial scenarios and the ability to challenge stakeholders in tough situations
• Have a highly commercial approach, be a self starter, and possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
