We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic team supporting the delivery of the University’s financial strategy at this exciting time. Specifically, the role is to support the largest academic School in the University; Health and Social Care.
This post offers an opportunity to influence, shape, develop and implement the School’s financial strategy. You will lead on establishing the School’s budgets, developing 3-year plans and delivering the School on budget during the year. Working closely with colleagues across the University, you will be supporting a £35m business and know that you’re in a role where you are empowered to make a difference and achieve results.
In applying for this position, experience of developing strategies and budgets are key, you will need to be comfortable at seeing the bigger picture to achieve agreed goals and know how to prioritise a full workload. Ideally, you will have an accounting qualification or a strong QBE with in-depth understanding of the full planning and budgeting process. You will need excellent stakeholder management and networking skills, the ability to persuade and influence senior stakeholders with diplomacy and confidence. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and first-rate written communication skills are also essential.
