Do you want to work for an inspiring charity whose work supports the lives of vulnerable people across the region? Are you a confident Excel user with previous experience of database management or data entry? Want a role that offers excellent work-life balance and a brilliant annual leave allowance?

If yes, then this could be your next role!

My client is a Wetherby based charity who are seeking a Database Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant role for someone who has previous experience in either a data entry or databased focus role, who is looking to consolidate their skills and bring about positive change in a forward-thinking, dynamic environment.

The main responsibilities of this role are as follows:

  • Full responsibility for inputting donations from various income streams onto the system in a timely manner, ensuring they have been allocated to the correct department.
  • Take the lead on the training of new starters on the charity’s database, ensuring they have a solid understanding of how to use it and how to correctly record data.
  • Be at the forefront of producing new ideas to develop the teams’ existing systems and processes to make them more efficient.
  • Provide invaluable support in database management, ensuring that all data is kept up to date and extracting information for use in fundraising campaigns.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations as required and undertake adhoc invoicing tasks for events and campaigns.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders in other areas of the business to keep them up to date with changes in process.

This role comes at an exciting time for the charity as they have seen significant growth over the last few years and are now looking to expand their team as part of their ambitious development strategy. The successful candidate will be offered an excellent benefits package including a substantial annual leave allowance, flexible working arrangements and a competitive salary.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a data entry role of a similar capacity.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Past experience working with a CRM is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and previous experience working in customer-facing roles.
  • Ideally, previous experience working in the charity sector. However, candidates without this are still strongly encouraged to apply.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please do not delay in applying as applications are being reviewed daily and this role is likely to be filled before the closing date.
