My client is a Wetherby based charity who are seeking a Database Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant role for someone who has previous experience in either a data entry or databased focus role, who is looking to consolidate their skills and bring about positive change in a forward-thinking, dynamic environment.

The main responsibilities of this role are as follows:

  • Full responsibility for inputting donations from various income streams onto the system in a timely manner, ensuring they have been allocated to the correct department.
  • Take the lead on the training of new starters on the charity’s database, ensuring they have a solid understanding of how to use it and how to correctly record data.
  • Be at the forefront of producing new ideas to develop the teams’ existing systems and processes to make them more efficient.
  • Provide invaluable support in database management, ensuring that all data is kept up to date and extracting information for use in fundraising campaigns.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations as required and undertake adhoc invoicing tasks for events and campaigns.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders in other areas of the business to keep them up to date with changes in process.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a data entry role of a similar capacity.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Past experience working with a CRM is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and previous experience working in customer-facing roles.
  • Ideally, previous experience working in the charity sector. However, candidates without this are still strongly encouraged to apply.
