The main responsibilities of the Assistant Finance Business Partner are as follows:

• Liaise closely with senior stakeholders across your allocated directorate to review their accounts with them, discussing any variances that there may be.
• Play a key role in the production of annual budgets and forecasts, carrying out expert analysis of any variances that there are on a monthly basis.
• Produce vital aspects of monthly management information packs for meetings with senior stakeholders.
• Provide invaluable support to the production of month-end reports, producing a wide variety of journals for this process.

The successful candidate for the Assistant Finance Business Partner role will have:

• Part qualified as an accountant and be actively studying towards completing their qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
• Previous experience of working within a management accountancy-based role.
• Experience of answering financial queries from non-finance members of staff.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).
