The Kennedy Trust for Rheumatology Research are exclusively partnering with Robertson Bell to recruit an Office and Admin Executive to join their growing and developing organisation. As a long-established and successful small charity, this is an excellent opportunity to work across multiple areas including office management, overall administration of the Trust and Grant management.

About The Kennedy Trust for Rheumatology Research
Based in Hammersmith, the Trust provides sustainable, long-term funding of medical research into rheumatic and other inflammatory diseases and has been doing so for over 50 years in association with The Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology at the University of Oxford. They are now in a position to grow the team and therefore are looking to recruit an Office and Admin Executive during this exciting period.

The Role
The Office and Admin Executive would work on a part-time basis (3 days a week) and reports directly to the CEO. They would be responsible for:

  • Supporting the CEO in all grant making administrative duties including the processing, development and coordination of grant reporting requirements
  • Maintaining smooth running of administration for the office
  • Organising and arranging dates for committee meetings as well as taking minutes during these
  • Implement and maintain the Trust’s CRM system in relation to all grants
  • Provide general support to the Trustees on various ad hoc requirements

The Candidate
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a flexible part-time basis and add value to an already successful charity. The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience in maintaining an office environment in an organised manner
  • Be a capable and excellent communicator with the ability to work independently
  • Use their initiative to improve existing processes
  • Be able to confidently respond to senior stakeholders such as CEO and committee members
  • Have ambition to develop themselves within this role

This part-time role offers excellent flexible working opportunities across 3 days, opportunity to work one day from home and some flexibility around how the working hours are spread across the week.
