Robertson Bell are recruiting for an Interim Procurement Specialist. Our client is a large Public Sector organisation, based in Central London. This is on a 3-6 month contract with potential to be extended further.
As the Procurement Specialist for the IT Category, you will be part of a wider Procurement and Contracts Management team, who aims are to ensure high value for money, and effective supplier and contract performance management.
Specific responsibilities include:
The successful candidate will be a member of CIPS professional body with experience of working within a Procurement and Contracts function. You will have good commercial acumen and be financially aware. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to negotiate and influence across all levels. Strong IT skills with Excel and Word is essential. Experience within the Public Sector and with the G-Cloud framework would be advantageous but not essential.
