Robertson Bell Finance are working with a G15 Housing Association to recruit an Interim Management Accountant on a fixed term contract for a minimum period of 9 months with the potential for extension. Based in London, the role joins the organisation during a period of rapid change whilst they are embarking on a major improvement project.
Reporting into the Senior Management Accountant, the main responsibilities of the Interim Management Accountant are as follows:
*Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts, collating accounts from a number of differing subsidiaries.
*Provide monthly journals for different subsidiaries and projects of the organisation.
*Ensure that you all P&L and balance sheets are reconciled monthly.
*Work very closely with the Senior Management Accountant to assist in preparing the budgets and forecasts for different subsidiaries and projects of the organisation.
*Assist with any other ad hoc tasks.
The successful candidate must be a part qualified accountant as a minimum. Experience of working in another large housing association, is preferable but not essential. Candidates without housing experience will still be considered, but you will need to have worked for a large and complex organisation previously. Finally, you will be able to demonstrate a sound accounting knowledge.
