The investment and information sharing across the finance team allows every team member to grow personally and professionally and WaterAid are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their already strong finance team.
The Finance Business Partner sits within the Corporate and UK Finance team in London and will support the Communications and Fundraising Directorate. Leading on the budgeting process, the
Finance Business Partner will develop quality budgeting and forecasting tools and will enable the C&FR teams to take more ownership of their reporting.
Key Responsibilities include:
*Working with the C&FR senior management team to deliver financial analysis, supporting decision making by combining analysis with an awareness of departmental strategy
*Use business insight to enable the delivery of departmental objectives
*Develop systems, build performance dashboards and support monitoring and evaluation of fundraising performance
*Identify trends across the fundraising departments to optimise decision-making
*Work with non-finance staff, delivering training to allow them to take responsibility for financial management and explaining complex financial issues
*Ensure the integrity of the management accounts
*Deputise for the Head of Management Accounting when needed.
We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with a commercial mindset, able to combine financial analysis and an understanding of strategy to work beyond a purely financial role. With excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels, the Finance Business Partner will have strong planning and forecasting experience and will be able to work proactively.
